“I have no idea where these bad reviews are coming from. I have never been to an Eye Doctor before, I have always had perfect vision. Like many hitting 50, my eyesight is going bad to read, and you hear on commercials of all the eye diseases, again making me hesitant. I assumed I would go in they will have me read an eye chart, tell me I need glasses and send me on my way without know if I am ok. Isn't that what everyone wants for a checkup, to make sure EVERYTHING (no disease) is ok. Well what happen was the OPPOSITE of just read some letters and make me pay. My Doctor was Jessilyn Burns. She was AMAZING she told me every second what she was doing and why (a little fast, might want to slow down a little). That is a HUGE comfort, not sure she knows how good that is. Makes you feel everything is going to be checked, and nice for me to know all was well, except my reading as I did need some reading glasses. When I went to pick out my frames, the girl that helped me was SSSOOOOO Patient as I tried on 10 pairs before deciding. I have now idea if these bad reviews are from WhiteOak, but I doubt it, because they made me extremely happy.“

Horowitz and have been for years...she is simply the best...so careful to check thoroughly, has sophisticated diagnostic equipment to give a comprehensive exam, takes time and takes you seriously always seeking to help you feel and see better...these things have been true for years, but last month, I had cataract surgery and my eyes were very different prescriptions afterwards...this is a temporary, but frustrating situation...Roberta helped me enormously! First, she had adjustable glasses that could be dialed to work for either eye while I waited for my eye to heal...then she knocked out the lens of my glasses that covered my "New" eye which helped balance my vision - and blessedly, she got me new lens for my eyes, old and new, that have restored me to good vision...you don't what you have until you don't have it, but if you're lucky, you have a resourceful and caring eye doctor who makes it her business to help you where you are...an oh, her frame selection is fabulous! MY glasses never fail to elicit compliments because they are unique and gorgeous...go to Dr. Horowitz - you will be glad you did...and all that has been said about the family atmosphere, the friendliness of Debbie and Julia - all true...high quality care from genuinely nice people!“

“Dr. Budd is the best! I used to see him as a teenager and when I returned to Pittsburgh after a long absence I went back to see him again and have been going to him since. He is very thorough, and always very patient in testing vision. I've been to other places where they rush through the eye test and my prescription never came out right. Dr. Budd takes his time and my prescription is right every time. I've also been to places where the care is disjointed and unfocused, with different people examining me and none of them communicating whatsoever. Dr. Budd's office is the opposite - it's comprehensive, cohesive, and competent care.“
