5300 Perrysville Rd, West View“Review updated. Original review:
Positives: The electrician came when he said he would, was professional, and fixed the problem which turned out to be a very simple one of me using non-dimmable bulbs in a fixture with a dimmer switch. Negative: When I called to make the appointment, I asked if there was a service fee to come out and take a look. The person on the phone told me there was no service fee and that the electrician would give me a price once they get here, before they fix the problem. What actually happened was they put in the new bulbs and then told me that the minimum fee was $195.00, which honestly is waaaay overpriced for simply putting in a couple new bulbs. If they had told me on the phone that there was a minimum fee no matter what they fix and that the fee is $195.00, I would have shopped around for a more reasonable price. I feel I was misled by the person who made the appointment. So just bear in mind that if they do anything at all besides just give you an estimate, the fee will be $195.00 minimum no matter what.
Update (two days later). Justin from King Electric called me after seeing my Google review and let me know that the electrician did not follow the proper procedure because he did the work first and then told me the fee after the fact. He was happy to refund a substantial amount of what I paid, and he shared that the electrician has been retrained on the proper procedure. So I updated my review to four stars. I appreciate that King was willing to work with me, and I will now consider using them again for future electricity needs. (They didn't ask me to update the review. I just thought it was the right thing to do).“

Not only that, but the gentleman was very professional and friendly. He noticed it was the erong amps and quickly changed the breaker as well as the outlet. The service was quick and the price was more than fair. I will absolutely call them again for my electrical needs.“

“The Rinamens are fantastic. They help me with my basement renovation project. Brian suggested a 100 amp sub-panel in my basement that fit perfectly into my planned utility closet where the Tv cable and wifi cable come in from 2 different companies. It's also where my radon suction pipe is located. Best of all he is helping me replace my original aluminum cabling with copper cables, including changing out the four 220/240 volt aluminium cables running to the range, well pump, clothes dryer and AC unit. All these cables run through the basement and are being replaced with copper and connected to the new subpanel. Brian is extremely competent and works so quickly. Pricing is fair and reasonable. They have my highest recommendation.Service: Installation“

“Northern Electrical did some extensive work over the course of a couple days. They replaced the old outdoor lighting with a great upgrade, installed pathway lights in the front and back yards, put up two light posts in the backyard with motion sensors and switches (which also allow for outback playing and roasting), put an outlet in the greenhouse for that area and which serves the chicken coop, outlets on the posts, upgraded the inside electrical panel in the basement, tidied up our amateur radio tower’s antenna cord—burying and encasing it, replaced the pond switch and let’s see, what else?! They did a lot and with great professionalism and dedication. Thank you Rich, Kris, and Mike!“
