Navigating an asthma diagnosis with a possible nasopharyngeal polyp was cost prohibitive for me in Washington DC. I sent Dr. Magnifico an email explaining my situation and having spent 2000-3000 dollars on my rescue kitten I still had no resolution. To my amazement she responded the next AM. Although it meant driving 80+ miles, having her get hands on my Marco was nonnegotiable given it was going to cost me $2K for a CT scan in DC.
Upon arrival, the staff and her team were very attentive and took wonderful care of Marco. Dr. Magnifico examined Marco, she spoke to me about his asthma and in her opinion, he did not have a polyp and instead he was a cat with asthma. That was the 1M dollar question I needed answered.
This clinic is a rare bird; its focus is not revenue generation like most corporate vet clinics but instead the clinic is focused on caring for your pet(s) wellbeing. I was satisfied with my outcome and will keep her in mind for future needs that pop up with all my pets.
