“This was the first time we went to brush run veterinarian clinic with our chihuahua Fiona Dr Lancia exceeded every expectation from a doctor she told us that our girl had a 3/4 grade heart murmur and put her on medicine our old vet would've blown if off like they did with our chihuahua. “My cats have been boarding there 2 days, I’m still 1200 miles away on a trip, and I couldn’t help but go ahead and write this review. They are kind, compassionate, loving, patient, and absolutely obsessed with loving our animals as their own while we’re away. One of my cats has asthma, and it’s really hard for me for me to leave her at all, but I’ve never felt so safe with her being somewhere else. Pet parents - this is the place you want your kids to be when you’re not there. I’m so beyond impressed and so thankful for them! The Nestcam is a GAME CHANGER. “I love the care my cats have received from Rivers Veterinary Urgent Care. I was first introduced to this practice being a foster mom for Theo and Dr. Thornton being who my cat rescue introduced me to for his care. Once i adopted Theo, I continued to use Rivers Vet exclusively for him and my other cats. I have seen Dr. Thornton and Dr. Neihaus and am thoroughly pleased with both their attentive care given to my cats. I feel they take time, explain clearly what I need to know, answer any questions, and are tender with my cats. I never feel admonished, only educated. The entire staff treats me and my cats with respect.i like, too, that I wait in the car eith my cats til they ate ready for us. The only downsides? They have a number of walk-ins allowed which is great but, just know, the wait can be very long (last visit was 2 hour wait but it was not life or death and I had the time so wait we did in the car). Not their fault. They are a busy practice. It is what it is. I was thankful to be able to have my cat be seen same day as when I called. Patience is needed here and every other vet practice anymore -- Supply vs. Demand.“

“We switch to A Step Up vet when our dog was 10 years old from another office. It was the best decision we made for our boxer. Everyone is so kind, knowledgeable and welcoming. Sadly, we lost our boxer at 12 1/2 years. The staff treated our dog and family with tremendous respect and compassion. We are eternally grateful for the care she has received. “My beagle named Romeo, went here for 8 years. And we had got the upmost best care. Unfortunately my dog has passed away unexpectadley last evening. But I highly recommend this vet to anyone that is in of one. I'm not sure if we will be returning, not because of the staff or care, but because we have moved and it's a further commute. But definitely would still recommend them!“

Despite the circumstances, your office allowed for the most peaceful transition and we left that evening truly believing that it went as well as it could have possibly gone. After this experience, we brought our other cat for a health check which was also a great experience. Lovely staff, superb care!“
