“I would definitely recommend Hess Physical Therapy. When I started at Hess I had to use a wheel chair to get around or a cane to walk. My wife had to drive me to PT. After being treated by Dr Julie Thomas and the entire team , I am now able to walk without the wheelchair and cane, and can now drive myself everywhere I need to go. Dr Julie always asked before every treatment how is the pain. Dr Julie was always willing to listen and either added new treatments or adjusted the treatment I have been currently doing. The entire team was always there to help.“
“Performance Unlimited is the best PT group I have ever been to! Dan, Bill & CeCe are an amazing PT team and Kay will greet you with a smile every day. They make it a fun environment even if it's some hard orpainful work. At each session they were working on my leg and running me through exercises. It was different than other PT I've done in the past where half of the time I'm wrapped with moist heat treatments. Here, you get the full hour of hands on care and exercises - exercises and stretches you can do at home without a bunch of specialty equipment. I'm walking like a normal person again! “The therapy I received from Nikki at the PTI was so helpful in alleviating the pain and swelling I had been experiencing in my knees. At the start of my sessions, I was unable to bend or straighten my knees completely, but after working with Nikki and her support staff for about 4 weeks, the pain and swelling was gone. Plus, I felt much stronger and was able to return to my yoga classes and get down on my hands and knees to play with my dog again. Upon “graduation,” the therapists showed me how easy it was to do some of my stretches (that normally require a second person) at home so I could continue to stay strong and limber.The atmosphere in the Warrendale office is so laid back - occasional bantering between therapists, staff and other patients is a commonplace - but at the same time, was structured enough to make me feel as though I was receiving the individualized care and guidance that I needed.
