“I was referred to Dr. Noah Eger for the ongoing monitoring of my eye condition along with being fitting for scleral lenses for my condition. I have seen a total of eight ophthalmologist and two optometrists and Dr. Eger has been the best experience out of all of them, being right alongside my family optometrist who caught the issue in the first place. Him, and his staff, are lovely to be around. They are attentive and kind, and after almost three years of dealing with my medical condition, I finally feel like I can take a deep breath knowing that I am in Dr. Eger's, and his staff's, care. My appointments are always on time, my concerns are listened to, and I finally feel that I am on the right path. My insurance has been a NIGHTMARE to deal with, and Dr. Eger and his staff have advocated for me through the entire ordeal. I am not one to write reviews unless I believe them to be necessary, and this is one of those cases where I believe it is. I cannot thank this office enough for what they have done for me.“

“They were able to find the issue that my daughter was having quickly when none of her teachers could identify why she was having issues reading. Through a series of tests, they identified that her eyes were having issues working together which is why she was a slow reader and couldn't copy this down from the board easily. So glad we found out about this place.“

“Never thought I would purchase eye glasses from Walmart but after going to other stores in the past I noticed the collection in this store was reasonable and a lot of fashion selection. The staff was fantastic. My insurance plan was confusing to all of us but they got on the phone and called them until everything was resolved. Give them a try.“
“Very good doctors -- wish they had more customer friendly hours. Sat am and one late hours during the week would be great. Not everyone can get to their office by 3:45 in the afternoon. This is a very old fashioned way to run a practice. One has to schedule months and months ahead for an appointment. Maybe they need more staff?“
“I have a very complicated eye history and in my youth didn't bother to keep my records as I moved around America. I went to Dr. Cargill looking for a referral and nothing more. What I got was a full exam by someone who gave a damn about my eyes and someone who was able to piece together a history of my surgeries and my eyes. (Another well known surgery group about 5 miles north tried to tell me that I'd never had surgery on my left eye!) He never rushes me, but is always prompt about getting me into the exam chair. He answers every question and takes time to explain not only what is going on but why it is going on. And when I call to schedule an exam, they are always pleasant and work around my schedule, not the other way around. I've seen between 20 -30 eye doctors over the years. Dr. Cargill and his staff are by far the nicest and, more importantly, the best that I've ever come across.“

The technology they have eliminates the need for all the tests that used to make me uncomfortable. “I needed glasses ASAP, and they were able to make a pair that would work for me in a couple of hours for a reasonable price. The full set of options that I wanted for long-term use couldn't be done in-house, but they said they could ship them to me. I can get glasses a little cheaper at some online-only places, but having a physical store where I can double-check the fit is very helpful, especially when I'm looking at frames that don't have adjustable nose pieces. This place seems to be the best of both worlds; I can locate frames that should be the right size online where that's easier to do and then go to the store to make sure they're comfortable and place the order.“

“I came into the store six months ago because of a big sale they were advertising, in order to get a spare pair of glasses. I received prompt, courteous service and a great price for attractive glasses. I put them in my drawer unused, until my regular glasses broke about a month later. I began wearing them and was quite happy with their appearance until a few weeks ago, when I began noticing that I wasn't able to get them completely clean. They began to have an increasingly apparent crackly appearance. I brought them in to see why, and the gentleman there said I probably wasn't cleaning them correctly and said I should use lens cleaning cloths. So, I bought those. But the problem continued and became more prominent. I went back into the store, convinced there was something else wrong with the lenses. I was then told that it was the anti-glare coating they used, which can break down when coming into contact with some household items like hairspray and soap. While I don't typically use hairspray, I had indeed used dish soap to wash my glasses on occasion. No one told me I shouldn't, and I've cleaned my glasses that way for years. When I complained that my glasses should last more than six months, I was told that that that particular sale included the lowest-end anti-glare product (as if I would know that!), and it just didn't always hold up. I was told that there was nothing they could do and they were sorry. Unfortunately, mere words do not fix the failure of their product to perform as advertised and expected. What I find really unacceptable is that if this was indeed a problem with this particular anti-glare product they either shouldn't offer it, or at the very least they should have told me of the risks and tried to upsell me on that lens, but no one said anything or offered any information on a potential problem at the time of sale. I do not recommend Eyetique. UPDATE 3/2018: When the new glasses I purchased online arrived and needed to be adjusted, I brought them into Eyetique (along with my old, unusable pair) and explained why I wanted them to adjust them at no charge. I spoke with the manager who immediately offered to not only adjust my new frames, but to replace the old frames with new ones. He said that my problem was not properly handled and apologized. I didn't see the person who took care of me initially and the manager said that probably someone from another store was filling in at that time. I upped my review stars accordingly.“
