“I cannot say enough positive about my experience at the Robinson, Pa location. I had an appointment on 1/14/26. I haven’t been to the eye doctor in a few years and I desperately needed an exam and new glasses. They were professional and knowledgeable from start to finish. Come to find out, they are running on a skeleton crew! You never would have known! The manager, the doctor, the optician.. every single person there, there was only 4, they handled themselves professionally and with grace.

“I scheduled my first appointment here with interest in trying Avulux lenses as I needed relief from frequent light-enduced headaches (specifically overhead florescent lighting competing with all day computer monitor use) and eye strain. Only a few practices in the entire region offer Avulux, so I'm thankful this office was so close to home. I was exhausted of dealing with multiple headaches per week of various pain levels. For weeks I considered possible lens options before calling to schedule my appointment; everything kept pointing me back towards Avulux and Massucci Vision Plus.

Blue light filter lenses are sold by endless online vendors, but I didn't want to trust my vision to an online purchase with no human interaction. RF-41 lenses seemed like they could be right for me, but as an artist and designer color accuracy is important so lenses that would heavily tint the color of my entire vision was a deal breaker. Avulux seemed expensive and relatively newer, but had rave reviews and clearly explained the science behind their technology. While I wouldn't consider that I have true migraines, I was desperate to reduce the frequency of debilitating headaches caused from florescent lighting at work, so cost was no barrier to me if the technology worked.

Dustin and Dr. Dolce were so kind and PATIENT with both my endless questions as a new lens wearer, and attempting multiple fits of different lens types (different progressive lens options vs single vision) over the span of a few months to find what worked best for ME. In addition to adding Avulux technology, they identified a few prescription elements to add to my lenses to correct vision problems and help reduce eye strain.

I'm astonished that my headaches have reduced from multiple per week to only TWO that I can recall in 4 MONTHS since receiving my new glasses...and neither of the two headaches were from light sensitivity. My eyes actually feel fresh at the end of the day, instead of noticeably tired even before lunch. Avulux does tint your vision ever so slightly, but I've actually come to prefer it - and, importantly, as an artist these have no impact whatsoever on my daily work.

I hardly ever write online reviews but the crew at the Massucci office deserve every ounce of recognition, and Avulux is the real deal that more people need to be aware of. THANK YOU!“

“Today I want to talk about the wonderful Customer Service, I received at Dalmo. I am a US Navy Retired (24 years) E-8. I was frantically, looking for a glass repair Store it was very late. I saw that Dalmo Optical closed at 7:00 pm so I followed the GPS and went in. From the moment I arrive everyone was extremely pleasant. My glasses were missing a small screw without asking any questions Ms Sophia took my glasses and started to repair them. I received all my care from the VA in Pittsburgh, but I knew they were not able to repair it tonight. Within five minutes of being a demo, my glasses were repaired. “I had my exam today at Eye Physicians and Surgeons LTD with Dr. Balouris. As always, it was an excellent experience. Dr. Balouris did the cataract surgery on my left eye 6 years ago, and it has been functioning well. I have a cataract that is growing in my right eye, but it is having little impact on my daily activities. Therefore, we decided to let it go until my next yearly checkup.

“I had a condition where I could not see out of my eye and it was also causing me to be vey dizzy. It was over the holiday break and there were not any eye doctors open. I happened to find Dr. Cargill online and it said he was open. Sometimes just because you are open doesn't mean you are the best one around, but I knew I had to be seen immediately. Let me tell you it was the best "leap of faith" I had ever taken. Not only was Dr. Cargill very thorough and professional, but he also found something that every other doctor had missed (including a hospital). He really took the time to get to the root of the problem and explain everything to me. He then referred me to the hospital because he was afraid of the severity. He not only called me the next day to check on me, he also called me a few days later (On a Sunday) to check on me again since he knew I was being released from the hospital. This was the best experience I have ever had with a doctor in my entire life!! This kind of care and concern for your patients is not something that you learn in medical school.“
