“This was my first experience in the salon and the whole place just feels fresh and clean Which was a great start to walk into. The girls at the front desk were friendly and offered to take my things and get me a drink to settle in. Grace was the stylist I chose, and she was immediately welcoming and friendly. She listened to everything that I had done to my hair as well as my goals and she helped me figure out what we were going to do and how we would achieve the goal overtime. Usually, I have a little anxiety about sitting in a salon for so long and talking to somebody I don’t know, but Grace just made me feel super comfortable and I just really had a wonderful time with her. On top of it, all my hair turned out beautifully and exactly what I was hoping for. I also appreciated that she was upfront about what the pricing was going to be before we even started. “holy transformation!! my regular stylist was booked till august, so i went here per a friend’s recommendation. blown away!! highlight and color service was great, Nicole was so sweet and accommodating and Anthony did a wonderful job on my root shadow. this cut was a bit bolder than what i’m used to, but i LOVE it! I found her by recommendation after being disappointed by other stylists who either didn’t respect my time of did hair so tight I couldn’t lay my head down at night because it was too painful. Merlynn has consistently done a great job interlocking, repairing locs, and consistently finishes on time. I am moving away from Philly, so I write this after leaving her chair for the last time.

“I went to Amy's for the first time last week, and I was 100% satisfied.
I went for full service, got my hair washed and blow dryed and they were gentle on my hair as it is long and think plus curly in texture. She took hee time detangling I am tender headed, lol that was a concern of mines. Same with the blow dry whatever product they used it was easy to blow it dry although my hair does better when it is still wet and she dried it alot with the towel it still combed right through. I don't have all the pictures Amy took, of the finished product. But after the wash, and the separation of the hair, I would say it took 5.5 hrs. And the stylist clocked it ?? lol just want i wanted exactly!“

“I came here over the summer to get my hair done when I was in town for an event instead of having to bring a suitcase full of hot tools and hair spray. The location address is easy to find and it is on the second story with stairs going up (not mobility/handicap accessible). The interior is clean albeit a little worn for wear on the floors and paint. I was seen exactly at my scheduled appointment time. The cost ($70) is similar too/a little less than what I typically pay for a blow out in NYC and I was happy with the results - despite the summer humidity my hair stayed looking great for hours.“

I had a haircut that was not right for my hair; Lori quickly identified the issue and was able to correct another stylists error. “Okay if you are looking for a new hair salon (or even if you’re not) THIS IS THE PLACE. I recommend it to literally all of my friends. The girls here are SO nice and attentive. I came in with a vision that a previous salon told me was impossible and not only did they make it happen, they made it better than I expected. Rachel is so cool and has such a calming vibe like I am such a doormat and get so anxious with haircuts/color because I always worry my asks are too much. Rachel took everything I said to heart and did the dang thing fr. Also, even though I LOVE my hair, if something was off I would’ve 10000% been comfortable to communicate that to her (HUGE for the socially anxious community). Anyways they’re awesome and i’m done rambling LOL.

Stylist: Rachel is amazing and I would trust her with my actual life. If I had to enter the hunger games I would want her to be my stylist like that’s how deep my trust in her goes.“

“Genesis gave me the best cut experience I've had in a long time. She was open and receptive to how I wanted my cut, and checked in on me several times during the cut to see if I wanted to make any changes. The hair wash was amazing and she was incredibly thorough. Genesis took the time to make sure all her supplies were clean, washed and sanitized. She directed me to a shampoo that would be good for my hair type which I bought.

“Flawless Finish was absolutely amazing. My makeup was...well Flawless! Tiffany and Niki helped me with my wedding vision at my Trial. They redirected me when I thought red would be a good lip color! I showed Niki pictures of my hair and she replicated it perfectly. Everyone complimented my hair and makeup. they were prompt, professional and efficient - truly Flawless!“
