The girls at the front desk were friendly and offered to take my things and get me a drink to settle in. Grace was the stylist I chose, and she was immediately welcoming and friendly. She listened to everything that I had done to my hair as well as my goals and she helped me figure out what we were going to do and how we would achieve the goal overtime. Usually, I have a little anxiety about sitting in a salon for so long and talking to somebody I don’t know, but Grace just made me feel super comfortable and I just really had a wonderful time with her. “Olivia from Natural State was AMAZING! She did a dry cut on my 14-year-old son’s hair, and he said it was the best haircut he has ever had. He went from looking messy and disheveled to having his curls lay exactly how he wanted them. She also took her time to explain how he can style his hair so it does what he wants it to do, and she showed him precisely how to do it, breaking each step down so he really understood. She made him feel comfortable and heard, and she gave him the haircut he wanted. He went from being skeptical to saying he always wants to come back to Natural State and get his hair cut by Olivia. I also get my hair cut at Natural State and usually go to Angel for a dry cut. I have never had a bad haircut there. Every hairdresser at Natural State knows how to cut and style curly hair, which is not the case at most other salons. I always get what I ask for there. I can’t overstate how good this place is. Worth every penny!“

“I had a hair/makeup appointment booked for me with Amber for a fashion show that I was in. Going in I didn’t know what to expect but I was very pleasantly surprised when I met Amber and entered her beautiful space! She does amazing work, and her and her makeup artists transformed all of the women involved with the show. She was very knowledgeable about all hair types and her energy was warm and welcoming. “Soon as I walk in I am greeted by the first barber, that always sets the tone. Next thing I love about this shop is the quality of professionalism, very mindful of being family and kid friendly. Everyone has their own unique characteristics and that makes my visit entertaining every time. My barber is Kenny, hard to catch time wise but also Flexible when locked in. “I went to Amy's for the first time last week, and I was 100% satisfied.
I went for full service, got my hair washed and blow dryed and they were gentle on my hair as it is long and think plus curly in texture. She took hee time detangling I am tender headed, lol that was a concern of mines. Same with the blow dry whatever product they used it was easy to blow it dry although my hair does better when it is still wet and she dried it alot with the towel it still combed right through. I don't have all the pictures Amy took, of the finished product. But after the wash, and the separation of the hair, I would say it took 5.5 hrs. And the stylist clocked it ?? lol just want i wanted exactly!“

“Genesis gave me the best cut experience I've had in a long time. She was open and receptive to how I wanted my cut, and checked in on me several times during the cut to see if I wanted to make any changes. The hair wash was amazing and she was incredibly thorough. Genesis took the time to make sure all her supplies were clean, washed and sanitized. She directed me to a shampoo that would be good for my hair type which I bought.

“Okay if you are looking for a new hair salon (or even if you’re not) THIS IS THE PLACE. I recommend it to literally all of my friends. The girls here are SO nice and attentive. I came in with a vision that a previous salon told me was impossible and not only did they make it happen, they made it better than I expected. Rachel is so cool and has such a calming vibe like I am such a doormat and get so anxious with haircuts/color because I always worry my asks are too much. Rachel took everything I said to heart and did the dang thing fr. Also, even though I LOVE my hair, if something was off I would’ve 10000% been comfortable to communicate that to her (HUGE for the socially anxious community). Anyways they’re awesome and i’m done rambling LOL.

Stylist: Rachel is amazing and I would trust her with my actual life. If I had to enter the hunger games I would want her to be my stylist like that’s how deep my trust in her goes.“
