The Falk Medical Building is a great place with amazing doctors who provide excellent communication and care. Patients praise the understanding and listening skills of their doctors. While parking can be a challenge, the valet service is a convenient option. The dermatology and endocrinology departments are particularly praised for their friendly and caring staff.
I don't know what others are talking about when they say there is no parking or it is hard to find. There is a UPMC parking garage on Lawthrop street. Lawthrop is only 2 blocks long. If you pass it, you can make a right and go around the block. Once you get in the garage, exit onto lawthrop and walk down the hill to fifth Ave. Make a left onto Fifth and the door is immediately on your left. Huge letters, Falk Medical Building.
I have nothing but great things to say about the people here. Very helpful and always check everything no matter how relevant. Always listens to your concerns and work hard to find solutions.
The Falk medical building is showing its age, but it has the best valet parking system in all of the UPMC Oakland Hospitals and Facilities.
A lot of good medicine happens here, so focus on that fact and not the failure of the building to be shiny and new.
