The Laundry Cafe, located in North Philadelphia on Allegheny Avenue, is a laundromat that also offers assistance with setting up benefits. Customers have praised the helpfulness of the staff, despite some issues with the cleanliness of the bathroom and the difficulty of locking the doors. Some machines may be a bit worn, but they are still functional and get the job done. However, there have been complaints about the attitude of one employee, a young Spanish woman who wears a white vest, who has been described as disrespectful, rude, and even aggressive towards coworkers. Despite this, many customers have had positive experiences and appreciate the convenience of the Laundry Cafe's services.
Our go to laundromat, pleasantly surprised at cleanliness of everything even the restrooms. Brand new washers and quality updated dryers. No more need for swiping your card 10s of times with their updated easy lay card readers. A+5☆ experience everything.
No problems when I have to do laundry. I pick my time or plan it out so I won't have any drama! My job profession I am a Paramedic so I deal with enough drama on my twelve hour shifts, so when I got to do laundry I want peace & Quiet 👍💯
It's a good place to wash/dry your clothes. Many of the washers and dryers are out of order, but the ones that do work really work. The staff is very nice and helpful. The music choice is sometimes inappropriate, but that depends on whose working or has control of the system that day. The volume is also sometimes way too loud, and the explicit songs aren't filtered. The great thing is that if you have any issues you can tell the staff and they will accommodate.
