Rockdale Music is an outstanding facility, Rob Craft, Jared Loss and Mark Hull are simply awesome. I am really enjoying myself and would thoroughly recommend Rockdale Music to all aspiring mature players“

From the moment we walked in, it was obvious that this school is built around the students—not just teaching them how to play an instrument, but helping them grow into confident, creative, compassionate people. My child has gained musical knowledge at a pace I honestly didn't think was possible, while also learning teamwork, leadership, communication, and what it means to contribute to something bigger than themselves.
One of the things that sets Let There Be Rock apart is the experience of its owners and instructors. They aren't simply music teachers—they've spent years working with and managing nationally recognized bands and have built lasting relationships throughout the music industry. That real-world experience is reflected in everything they teach, giving students insight that goes well beyond learning songs.
What impressed me most is how intentionally they foster creativity and independence. Rather than simply assigning parts, they encourage kids to form their own bands, collaborate, solve problems together, and create a shared artistic vision. The students learn to support one another, celebrate each other's strengths, and embrace what makes each person unique. It's an incredibly safe, inclusive environment where every child is encouraged to be authentically themselves.
We previously participated in another local rock music program, and our experience was dramatically different. While every family's experience may vary, we found it to be significantly more expensive while offering far less educational value. My child made very little progress in both musical understanding and confidence, and we didn't feel the same level of support, community, or attention to the students' overall experience. The atmosphere also felt far less welcoming than what we've found at Let There Be Rock.
By comparison, Let There Be Rock offers exceptional value. You're paying less while receiving substantially more individualized instruction, mentorship, performance opportunities, and genuine investment in each child's growth—not just as a musician, but as a person.
If your child loves music, needs a creative outlet, or simply wants to find a place where they belong, I cannot recommend Let There Be Rock School highly enough. They are developing musicians, leaders, teammates, and confident young people in an environment built on kindness, inclusion, and a genuine love of music. It has been one of the best investments I’ve ever made in my child's growth.“

The guitar needed a string so we went to the Music Store! Rob was exceptional with his service! He put the string on, tuned the guintar and was nice enough to explain the tuning process to the both of us! I’ve seen some of the bad reviews about service in this store. I don’t know if this is home base for Rob but which ever location he works they are definitely lucky to have him! Great job, Rob and thanks again🔥!“
“Akira is a great piano teacher! He provides excellent feedback and criticism, and an amazing studio to play in. His attention to detail helps me to learn the piano properly. I’ve been taking lessons with him for almost 2 years as an adult learner, with some music background. He is very kind and easy to get along with, and I would recommend him to anyone who would want to learn piano.“

“I take vocal lessons at SOR Delco and am very happy with my experience there. My instructor Marcelyn is very knowledgeable, and helpful in teaching vocal techniques. The adult group setting is a lot of fun and helps build my confidence.“
