Beautiful shop and charming /friendly shopkeeper. This store makes shopping in person such a fun and whimsical experience and is exactly why I love shopping local. They produce such beautiful and delicate scents, and in store shopping is guided by the knowledgeable owner who clearly has a passion for his craft. I’m a big fan of Malin and Goetz products and since moving to Philly have been looking for something similar. Duross & Langel has the same kind of quality and vibe I've been missing, and it's already one of my favorite discoveries in the city. This is a great place to purchase gifts and I’ll be coming back again and again. PS the green tea lotion rocks.
Such a great visit to this beautiful store 😍 we had a great chat about the various items available and bought some lovely locally produced soap (one made by D&L and one by another local manufacturer). We also got some great recommendations for other places to go (including A Man Full Of Trouble which did not disappoint). Loved it !
I’ve gone here multiple times for last-minute gifts and every recipient raved about how great the products were. They let you make custom gift boxes if you want to pick out soaps/lotions/etc. that you like more than the pre-made gift boxes, too. I also appreciate the honest feedback and insight. It is clear that they take pride in what they make, but want you, as the customer, to leave with something you’ll truly enjoy. I definitely plan on continuing to go here.
