I have been to about a dozen chiropractors over the decades, and they were all good. However, Dr. Bernabei, Balance Health Center in Center City Philadelphia, BY FAR has been one of the best.Not only are his adjustments less jarring than most, they are appropriate for each part of my spine. He incorporates pressure point "mini-massage" to the knots, to help release my back, not just release my spine. I can go many weeks (up to about eight) feeling good with his adjustments. He'll suggest routines at home to help myself. Enjoyed my first visit. I am definitely returning and will be a regular client. Not only did I get my back, neck, & ankles adjusted but I learned so much about what a chiropractor is and do. And how the body works and why it does what it do. And isn't shy to discuss the pharmaceutical world and how the body can naturally heal itself. He was able to work with me through my limitations and still get the job done since I am pregnant. He also was about to take what I thought was normal of my body and make some adjustments to it and even show me placements and movements that were off or not working and fix it! I have been struggling with upper back/neck pain and migraines all my life. It wasn't until I found Dr. Chris at Balance Health Center that I truly found a solution to my pain.
