PA isn't my home state; I traveled here from Nebraska to spend time with my partner who lives here. We took a trip to Rehoboth Beach on a Friday and, being unfamiliar with the ocean, I went in with my glasses and lost them when a wave crashed into me. I have an especially strong prescription (-6.25 & -6.5), so not having vision correction for an extended time isn't a viable option for me. I called a few places on Saturday when we were home again, but they either had a two week turnaround time to make a new pair of glasses (not an option, as I'd be out of the state at that point)...read full review
I would give Modern Eyes 10 stars if I could. From the time I made an appointment to the time I left, everything was top notch. I have struggled to find eyewear that worked for me for a long time. Jon told me with confidence he would be able to help. I drove over an hour because of that confidence. From the receptionist to the doctor to the contact lens lesson to picking glasses and paying-everything was smooth. The value of my service far exceeded the cost. There is such a vast selection of glasses and I walked out feeling like I was their only customer/patient/client, even though the place was bustling! This business is a 10/10!
