Evolution has given me exactly what I need to feel like myself, again. After having kids, I fell out of my yoga practice, but evolution has guided me back. The teachers are incredibly supportive and helpful, not judgmental. They guide you each step of the way. I highly recommend going for one class to see if it is a fit for you.

I have been going to Evolution while at home visiting my family (I live in San Francisco now) and it has been so incredibly therapeutic and empowering in the wake of a painful breakup. I arrive at class all wound up and tired and leave energized, and truly “blissed out”… I really appreciate all the time options, the rigor of the classes, and the dedication of the other yogis who show up. The studio is beautiful and I feel so comfortable there. Only wish is that there was an SF location! Thank you, don’t know what is do without you.

While I absolutely love yoga in any capacity and the multiple studios that Evolution has to offer, I’ve found that some of the teachers can be rather off-putting. Although, I love the physical space at Evolution Lancaster (especially the big open windows allowing light to pour into the space), I’ve found myself avoiding certain teachers and times classes are offered. This is because my experience walking in slightly behind schedule normally isn’t a problem for most teachers, however, a particular teacher made sure to let me know I came in a moment late by shouting “LATE!” when I arrived on my mat while in the very first pose of class, only after I was trying...read full review
