I had a wonderful experience today at Salt Shakers Spa. I spent 15 minutes in the infrared Sauna with Chromotherapy and a 75 minute Swedish massage. Both I really needed. Doreen has been cleaning my home for approximately two years now I live in a rather large home and I’m a single bachelor so it doesn’t always get full usage. Doreen is very accommodating if I only need one floor done two floors done or all three floors done she’s willing to do whatever I need and always goes the extra mile. On a Friday, my cat was ill & I had not found a local vet since we moved here a year ago. I called my regular vet in Warwick NY & they were booked solid so I needed to find someone local. NOTE TO PET OWNERS: Find a local vet before you need them. I was foolish to wait but don't make my mistake. ALSO find & save the name, number & address for an EMERGENCY VET. This will highly likely be different from your regular vet. In an emergency, you WILL NOT have time to find the best/closest place to go. After calling a couple of vets we found on Google who were booked, we took a chance & called Wallenpaupack Veterinary. Miracle of miracles, they had a cancellation & got us in that afternoon. The vet listened to my concerns & gave me options for tests. I didn't feel they were doing unnecessary procedures or tests to pad the bill. Turns out there was nothing seriously wrong with my cat BUT seeing Wallenpaupack Veterinary gave me piece of mind going into the weekend.
Argyl Floral made me the most amazing bouquet for my wedding! I could not be happier with how they turned out, they tied everything together perfectly and I couldn't be more thankful!

John is the best painter we've ever had the pleasure of working with. He painted the exterior of our home 8 years ago and it still looks amazing. He just finished staining all of our wood decks, stairs, walkways, and assorted trim. We have a large property and have had some bad experiences with other painters in the past but John knew exactly how to fix all of the issues. It was a huge job but he took his time, did it right and it looks amazing (and at a very fair price)! His daughter Jenna assisted him and we were truly impressed with her workmanship as well. These are truly nice people. I enjoyed their company and was actually sorry to see them go. I highly recommend Big Lake Painting.

I hurt my back lifting something I shouldn't have and Dr. Pokowicz agreed to see me immediately. After 2 adjustments I'm back to my old self. Reasonably priced and very accommodating. I wouldn't go anywhere else. He really knows what he's doing.

We booked Mary to come to our Airbnb and give a set of massages for our kid free weekend. It was vert easy to arrange with her and when she arrived was very personable so it wasnt weird. She did AMAZING massages on both my husband and I. I got the extra reiki which was thoroughly needed. Her prices were extremely reasonable and we highly recommend her services. The LakehouseWe bought a 27-year-old cottage on a cliff that was built for someone else’s life. With the guidance and support from Clemleddy Construction, we totally reconfigured it into a contemporary home that is not only open and airy but also cozy and comfortable and as close to maintence-free as possible. With their help, we created both a serene retreat and an active home base for family and friends — a home built for our lives. The designers, mindful of the home’s location, added walls of windows and balconies inside and out to allow the light through the forest to sparkle like a French Impressionist painting as it enters the home. The two-story main living space uses an open staircase of oak railings and clear glass to add a variety of grand vistas from almost any line of sight. The kitchen, once a cramped space within which more than one person was a crowd, has become a gathering place for many around a long island with plenty of seating. Two sinks serve both the guests and the chefs as conversation and drinks flow in this culinary center. The crisp white cabinets are offset by the sparkling copper and siena facets of the countertops and are pleasing to all the senses. The addition of a glass-enclosed dining room with vaulted ceiling and high windows right off the kitchen expands the views and provides a dining experience “in the treetops”! The design staff extended our vision by adding a dramatic two-story stone fireplace to anchor the living room and enhance the expansive white walls with a column of soft earth tones. As the design work continued, the search for the perfect flooring took time and was resolved only when Alison found her solid Brazilian cherry hardwood flooring. The warm color from the polished cherry floors throughout highlights the architectural features and ties the clean, white, modern look together.Our experience with all the Clemleddy staff was overwhelmingly positive. It became clear to us as soon as we started working with Clemleddy that these were people we could trust and who had our best interests at heart. While the project became much greater in scope than we anticipated, Clemleddy’s eye for safety, craftsmanship and thoroughness assured us of our renewed home’s integrity. Many changes come with any large project, but we were always given choices as well as sound recommendations. We wish we had a fraction of Craig Smyth’s energy, sense of humor and expertise! Finally, a big shout-out to the many others we saw, and didn’t see, who worked tirelessly to make our vision a reality.This labor of love and Clemleddy skill took a 1900 square foot high-maintenance cabin in the woods and a two-bay detached box of a garage to a nearly maintenance-free classic 2600 square foot contemporary home with an oversized three-bay carriage house that would charm any New York designer. I walked in without an appointment today. My hair is very thick and was straight and blah. Dawn met me and we talked about layers. I haven't layered my hair in years because previous hair cutters chopped my hair and didn't blend the layers and my hair looked awful. I trusted Dawn and she knew exactly what to do and how to do it. My hair looks amazing and I am so happy. I should have asked her to take pictures. This salon is my new happy hair place. Thank you Dawn. :D

I don’t know anyone who wants to hire a mitigation company to help them recover from a home disaster, but that was the situation I found myself in when my kitchen and basement flooded. Lucky for me, my insurance company recommended Advanced Disaster Recovery to me.I’ve got to admit, I was a nervous wreck up until the moment that Dan and Scott pulled into my driveway. They immediately put me at ease, telling me that they would help me get through this - that they had me covered. A few minutes later, Russ the project manager and Darlene arrived to solidify the fact that I had nothing to worry about. They were right. Russ left me in great hands with Dan, Scott and Darlene who worked incredibly hard and efficiently, drying out my house, removing my flooring, cleaning all the affected areas, and inventorying and photographing every item that was destroyed in the flood. They were sincerely kind, trustworthy, and respectful. Bev from the Goshen office who I spoke to several times regarding the cleanup project, was also absolutely fantastic and put me at great ease with every conversation.I cannot say enough great things about these people. It's always a pleasure hearing Wendy's voice when I call. She's kind and helpful. I've been a customer of Paupack Fuel Oil for 3 years. It started because when I moved into a new home the previous home owners left the tank bone dry...and we were moving in during a snow storm in January! The company I originally went with said they couldn't help bring oil for a few days, so I desperately called around, being new to the area, and unfamiliar with who could help. Paupack Oil came through that day and filled our tank. Since then the experiences have been the same: responsive, helpful, and kind. Thank you!
I have been living in this community on and off for almost 25 years. It is a beautiful place to live The people are wonderful the staff is excellent and I'm looking forward to purchasing another home in the very near future. I refuse to let negative comments interfere with my decision. Every place has its ups and downs and in my opinion this one is one of the best communities to live in. If you don't like living in Hemlock You have the option to move....
