“OK, where should I start ? I very rarely if ever write reviews on businesses. To be honest most companies are average or competent, and I just do not find the need to write a review if that is the case. Every once in awhile though, I hire a company that turns out to incredibly good or incredibly bad. When that happens, I definitely feel the need to comment and review them.I hired Bill Gallagher to do a lot of work on my house. I needed a new roof, new gutters, stucco repaired and replaced, and also concrete work. To say Bill and his team did great work would be a severe understatement ! He works with highly skilled teams who each have their own specialty. For three weeks, I had some of the best workers I have ever encountered at my house doing an incredible job ! When you are spending tens of thousands of dollars, you better make sure the workers at your house "know their stuff". That sums up Bill, Cory, Israel, and everyone associated with them ! I unhesitatingly give them my highest recommendation. They will treat your house and your property like their own !!Services: General construction“

“Although I was a little skeptical in the beginning, I have to honestly say as a 35 year contractor in the electrical business Northstar roofing and siding is absolutely accompany worth doing business with.I was a little skeptical at first because their business model is one of a general contractor employing crews that work under their direction.We are extremely pleased with the end results of a fairly complex project. Our project included an entire rip off of our main roof as well as two outline structures. We also replaced all of the gutters all of the skylights and areas of the roof that were visible to the street we upgraded to New steel roofing.Overall, I estimate I spent a bit north of $70,000 with NorthstarSome months later, we had our master bathroom renovated by a different contractor and this contractor chose to vent the bathroom fan by making a hole in our newly installed roof. When we had the 4 inches of rain a few weeks ago I woke to a drip and huge puddle in my brand new new $40,000 bathroom renovation.I really didn’t know where the water was coming in. I called Jeff, the owner of Northstar roofing and regardless that he did not make the penetration nor was the leak his responsibility. He mobilized an entire team, including himself that were at my house on a Saturday at 7:30 in the morning in a rain and wind.Rather than point fingers they took ownership even when they didn’t really have to! the whole crew, including the owner was up on my roof in absolutely terrible conditions fixing the leak caused by the bathroom contractors shoddy work.“

“I have called Joe Cochrane to my home several times over the last 3 years since I bought this house. He has always responded in a timely manner to my phone calls and repair needs. Previous to tornado Ida, he repaired the flashing around my chimney that was allowing water to damage a wall inside the house. He also installed leaf protectors on my drain pipes. After tornado Ida, he answered my call immediately and worked to protect any further damage from occurring and then repaired the roof. “Amazing Service!! First they where wonderful to work with as a first time home owner. The guy Steve explained everything and gave me a warranty with my new roof. They did the work as scheduled and my roof is solid. Fast forward several years and my several neighbors roof caved during a FEMA level storm. STEVE OWENS ROOF HELD! “Jeff Kunkel and his crew at Pristine Home Exteriors are terrific. We have an historic stone home in Philadelphia built in 1924 with a steep slate roof that needed work. Jeff sourced reclaimed slate tiles for us that matched what we have perfectly. They replaced about 50 tiles, put in new copper flashing and installed new copper gutters that they custom-made by hand. His kind of craftsmanship, attention to detail and experience with historic materials is very hard to find. We've used Jeff several times and is our go-to roofer now. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone with an historic home that needs a high-quality, roofing expert.“
