My daughter received a gift card to Hair Philosophy for her 14th birthday and decided she wanted to try highlights for the very first time. As a mom, I was a little nervous because she had never had her hair colored before, but she was excited to try something new.
The original color was beautiful and the stylist did an amazing job. It was just a little more dramatic than my daughter was expecting, and once she got home, she became self-conscious and wasn’t feeling completely comfortable with how different it looked.
What really impressed me was how wonderful her stylist was about it. She was so understanding and welcoming and allowed my daughter to come back in to have the color blended and softened. She listened to exactly what my daughter was trying to achieve and made sure she felt comfortable and confident.
The final result is PERFECT — exactly what my daughter was trying to ask for. She absolutely loves it, and most importantly, she feels like herself again while still getting to enjoy her first experience with highlights. ❤

I had Watson general contracting do some painting for me. They painted the cement boarder around my house along with the cement steps. The worker Duran(sp) really went above and beyond touching every little Nook and cranny. Mr.Watson showed up after he completed work for another customer, and dove right in helping. They would not leave until I was satisfied. They cleaned up the yard and all their work area.
I highly recommend this company for all your painting and repair needs.

My child has gained musical knowledge at a pace I honestly didn't think was possible, while also learning teamwork, leadership, communication, and what it means to contribute to something bigger than themselves.
One of the things that sets Let There Be Rock apart is the experience of its owners and instructors. They aren't simply music teachers—they've spent years working with and managing nationally recognized bands and have built lasting relationships throughout the music industry. That real-world experience is reflected in everything they teach, giving students insight that goes well beyond learning songs.
What impressed me most is how intentionally they foster creativity and independence. Rather than simply assigning parts, they encourage kids to form their own bands, collaborate, solve problems together, and create a shared artistic vision. We previously participated in another local rock music program, and our experience was dramatically different. While every family's experience may vary, we found it to be significantly more expensive while offering far less educational value. My child made very little progress in both musical understanding and confidence, and we didn't feel the same level of support, community, or attention to the students' overall experience. The atmosphere also felt far less welcoming than what we've found at Let There Be Rock.

Lea, Michael, Gill, and team bailed me out when another contractor flaked on my kitchen renovation. I needed a professional company to jump into a mess of a renovation and pick up the pieces. Michael came to look over my project, had a detailed proposal to me that evening, and the crew was onsite working within 48 hours. Gill led the team onsite providing expert craftsmanship and leadership. Michael checked in with me almost daily to make sure I was satisfied with everything and knew the game plan for the following days. Lea even called me a few times to make sure I was 100% satisfied.

Today was my first time at Pink Nails Folsom. Tina was amazing! She was sweet, kind and worked very hard to assure my experience was wonderful. She exceeded my expectations!!!
Love her and so do the kitties and that's the most important. She's wonderful trys to make a stress free visit for the cats doesn't do anything they aren't okay with. After going through two other vets one we hated and the other being penn university, she makes me feel like she is doing what is best for the cat. Highly recommend only vet I trust with both my cats.

Daria and Paige were a great team together in getting our daughter ready for the prom. Paige did a beautiful job with a clean and subtle look for her makeup. Daria was fun and created an old fashioned look that she was going for with teased curls. The atmosphere was upbeat and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Diana was a blast and made our daughter feel so welcomed as we were referred by a friend who goes to her. I highly recommend making an appointment, you won’t be disappointed. They have such a cute shop, thank you ladies for providing us with such a pleasant experience. We will be back soon ?

I think Dr. Brittany should be the gold standard of how any doctor operates. She asks questions, listens, and tries to understand what's going on with any pain I'm experiencing before trying to treat it. I have somewhat complex pain issues, and she was the first medical professional I found that was actually able to help get me to a much more manageable state after trying many others. On top of being good at what she does she's also extremely welcoming, and lovely to chat with every session.

I got the Level 2 one month membership my first time joining this salon which was July of 2023.. I just purchased a one month membership today for the Level 3 this time. I wanna start by saying this place is so clean and cozy lol. All the girls are so so sweet & helpful. If you happen to be a local reading this you know we don’t have the best options around here for tanning. Totally Tan hands down is the best tanning salon out of all the ones I’ve been to in the past. The “Daily Specials” offer free upgrades during the week & it’s just amazing, this salon is just all around a 10 out of 10. This is a business that works hard & trust me it doesn’t go unnoticed! ?

Went in for my usual cut and they made me wait several minutes while they tried to correct a cash register error. Other than that it was typical quick service.
My go-to spot!! Recently, took a last minute suit there, they had it done quicker than anywhere else I’ve experienced; even with it being a holiday. Not to mention they waited for me to show up while they were closing! They never disappoint, always take great care of you! Cheryl at the front is wonderful, the kindest lady who makes you feel like family! I’ll never go anywhere else.
