“Had a vet appointment today at riverside veterinary clinic today. First the receptionist was very accommodating with setting up and also rescheduled because I had to cancel my first appointment. When I arrived today they were very helpful and helped me with carrying my cat into the examining room which is difficult for me because I am on oxygen. Dr Mirro was very thorough. He checked temperature, ears, listened to his lungs and did xrays. I was pleasantly surprised that the bill was a lot lower than expected. Will continue bringing our pets to this clinic.“

“Came here to get 40 staples removed from my dog’s abdomen from a surgery he received in Colorado. Dr. Chick and the nurse helping her did a great job! They were informative and helpful with any questions I had. Dr. Chick was patient and kind with Rosco. They made a stressful situation feel stress-free. Highly recommend!“

The whole staff is professional and caring towards my fur babies, and me. My babies may be nervous going, but I always enjoy being there. My four-legged person's are well maintained by everyone at DVH.

Neither of them are scared to go to the vet at all, and the wonderful people here always remember them. You can tell they love what they do, and are always delightful to deal with.

Original: These people saved my dog. He was stung by some kind of insect in our yard and immediately had a reaction, becoming limp and not doing well. I called Valley Vet because they are his normal veterinarian office despite them not being an emergency office. They responded, cleared a room and had me bring him right over. It was touch and go at first because he is so small but he pulled through thanks to them. I'd recommend them to anyone and they have a client for life in me.“

“I've been with doc since the day he opened 30 some years ago. Will never go anywhere else unless he's not there & it's an emergency. Now having cats 4 & 5 I STILL go there. In fact he saved my cats life after I adopted them bc of how sick they were. He even worked with a pharmacy when I was on vacation so I had medicine for my male cat. They're the best. Doc loves what he does & the cats that come in. He cares about the people too. I really can't say enough about them. They're caring, thorough & not pushy.

“Absolutely LOVE this place and the staff here! Dr. Breneman and her team have been so great with my two pups! We recently moved to the area and I was doing a ton of reviewing before choosing a place for my fur babies to go. They only allow one patient/family in at one time, so there is no stressing of worrying about other dogs. Her team is SOOOO amazing with the pups. Everyone comes out to love on your dog, regardless if they will be assisting or not! t’s super clean, small, and quick. I highly recommend this place!!“

“VERY CARING PLACE. TOOK OUR MARLEY IN TODAY AND SHE WAS SEEN BY DR AARON. HE WALKED IN AND UNDERSTOOD THE NATURE OF OUR DOG WITHIN SECONDS AND DROPPED DOWN ON THE FLOOR AND SAT TO RELEAVE ANY STRESS THAT SHE HAD. SHES A 90 LB GERMAN SHEPHERD WHO HAS A LOT OF ANXIETY WITH OTHER MALES. DR AARON DID GREAT AT ASSESSMENT SHE HAS A YEAST INFECTION ON HER BELLY AND BACK WE WERE TREATED WITH THE UP MOST RESPECT AND ALL OF THE STAFF DID GREAT SHE EVEN GOT HER NAILS DONE. “My cat Boots does not like strangers at all but she was very comfortable with the vet and all of the staff to the point she allowed them to pet her. They treated her and gave her the best care I could have ever wanted and went back to them when she was very sick.“

“This review is based on only my first visit. So, I will update as time passes. I lost my last cat due to severe cancer that was missed by my previous vet due to neglect or ignorance (long story, but at the ER they could feel and see the massive tumor ravaging her.) I decided to adopt someone new and needed a new vet. My guy is tolerant of change more than average as a former stray, but the first vet we attempted still scared him and was very rough and unnecessarily short. I got worried that this would affect him in future visits as my last cat was terrified of vets and the car. PHPH was so nice from start to finish. My cat didn't make a sound or even struggle. The tech and Dr did very well handling and examining him. He obviously wasn't happy about it, what cat loves travel and strangers holding them? But he was way more chill. They seemed very informed and were fast and efficient.

I hope that this means good things for care down the line. I've decided that this will be his new vet for now. The front desk staff was also great.“

“My dog is a tad bit on the "nuts" side. She is loveable but very high strung. when we bring her in, we are treated like family and she is shown so much patience. Tech Lindsey is an absolute gem and Nova is always excited to see her.“
