“I cannot say how amazing this groomer is! And I ended that in a preposition… for all those grammatical scholars! Kimberly is phenomenal! Not only is she spectacular with my 4 yr old King Charles but my parents King Charles who has congestive heart failure come for grooming with her. She is amazing with how sensitive his needs are but she loves him the way our family loves him.
We are so thankful to find a groomer that will always be there for our pet before a fee!!

“i brought my kitty in for an urgent care visit. i was greeted by the very friendly front desk employee. i had a great experience with the front desk, vet and nurses. the vet i saw was very thorough with the exam and explanation for what my cat was experiencing. my kitty got the necessary medication and is all good now! wonderful experience, i would absolutely take my pets here again“

“My dog, Eulysses, and I visited Mi Amor today. It was our first time and we were more than impressed. The store is neatly organized and spotless. We utilized the self bath station that is in one of the back rooms. There are two stations, one for smaller pups and another for larger pups. They provide shampoos, towels, blow dryer, brushes and odor sprays. You are always welcome to bring your own tools and accessories too. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommend to anyone looking to give their fur baby a nice, relaxing bath without breaking your back.“

“I brought my dog Hank who was matted and difficult to comb. Angel was my angel. Hank came back with a beautiful cut. Angel took her time and was patient with Hank. She did so good I brought my other two, Dudley and Otto, to her. Each different cuts. Dudley puppy cut and Otto show cut. They too came home with wonderful cuts. “I’ve used What a Good Dog for Manners 1 and 2 with both of my golden retrievers, and I’ve always been so impressed with the entire staff. Every experience has been wonderful. Recently, I scheduled a private training lesson for my two-year-old golden retriever with Mary and Sam, and I truly couldn’t have better things to say about our time together. It was absolutely worth it.

From the very beginning, they took the time to observe and understand the dynamic between me and my dog — even down to watching him get out of the car. In just a short amount of time, they were able to read us so well and give incredibly helpful, thoughtful feedback on how to support his impulsiveness, keep him more engaged, and build a stronger connection during walks.

I’m a hands-on, visual learner, and they went above and beyond to teach and educate me on reactive behaviors, especially around pulling and jumping. They introduced us to the Gentle Leader, which has been absolutely game changing for our walks and has set both me and my dog up for so much more success.

My dog walker came to the session as well, and Mary and Sam were so patient, encouraging, and nonjudgmental with all of us. Their knowledge, calm energy, and willingness to explain the “why” behind everything made the entire experience truly outstanding.

I will definitely be booking another session in December or January and highly recommend working with Mary, Sam, and the entire What a Good Dog team.“

“We have loved Karen’s K9s since stating one of our dogs in daycare in 2018. We’ve since moved twice and live too far for daycare but drive an hour each way to board our 2 dogs. Meg, Steve, Eric, and the rest of the staff are amazing and treat our dogs like their own. The flexibility they offer is also unmatched with always accommodating a last minute drop off, adding an extra day, and being on standby when we were awaiting the arrival of our two human babies. “This place is SO amazing! Our groomer, Jenna, does such a great job! I asked for a “puppy” haircut for our miniature schnauzer but said I still wanted her to have a little beard and eyebrows. She did such a great job and my husband and I keep looking at her and saying how cute she looks since her appointment! Our dog can be VERY temperamental, and I struggle to cut her nails at home.
