“Olivia from Natural State was AMAZING! She did a dry cut on my 14-year-old son’s hair, and he said it was the best haircut he has ever had. He went from looking messy and disheveled to having his curls lay exactly how he wanted them. She also took her time to explain how he can style his hair so it does what he wants it to do, and she showed him precisely how to do it, breaking each step down so he really understood. She made him feel comfortable and heard, and she gave him the haircut he wanted. He went from being skeptical to saying he always wants to come back to Natural State and get his hair cut by Olivia. I also get my hair cut at Natural State and usually go to Angel for a dry cut. I have never had a bad haircut there. Every hairdresser at Natural State knows how to cut and style curly hair, which is not the case at most other salons. I always get what I ask for there. I can’t overstate how good this place is. Worth every penny!“

Going in I didn’t know what to expect but I was very pleasantly surprised when I met Amber and entered her beautiful space! She does amazing work, and her and her makeup artists transformed all of the women involved with the show. She was very knowledgeable about all hair types and her energy was warm and welcoming. “I am giving this place a 4-star because of my initial encounter with the receptionist, kemily. She was so rude! She was out the door exactly at 5 PM but another worker, Ciani, assisted me with pure kindness. As far as my blowout, It was outstanding! I was with Breonne. I love how much time and effort she put in to making sure my blowout was exactly as I wanted it. She truly cares about doing a good job which you don't often find in Dry Bar locations. They just want to move people in and out, but not Breonne. She wants to make sure you're happy when you leave. I will definitely be going back to see her. She takes pride in her work and it shows.“

“Soon as I walk in I am greeted by the first barber, that always sets the tone. Next thing I love about this shop is the quality of professionalism, very mindful of being family and kid friendly. Everyone has their own unique characteristics and that makes my visit entertaining every time. My barber is Kenny, hard to catch time wise but also Flexible when locked in. “Merlynn has been maintaining my locs for two years now. I found her by recommendation after being disappointed by other stylists who either didn’t respect my time of did hair so tight I couldn’t lay my head down at night because it was too painful. Merlynn has consistently done a great job interlocking, repairing locs, and consistently finishes on time. I am moving away from Philly, so I write this after leaving her chair for the last time.

“I went to Amy's for the first time last week, and I was 100% satisfied.
I went for full service, got my hair washed and blow dryed and they were gentle on my hair as it is long and think plus curly in texture. She took hee time detangling I am tender headed, lol that was a concern of mines. Same with the blow dry whatever product they used it was easy to blow it dry although my hair does better when it is still wet and she dried it alot with the towel it still combed right through. I don't have all the pictures Amy took, of the finished product. But after the wash, and the separation of the hair, I would say it took 5.5 hrs. And the stylist clocked it ?? lol just want i wanted exactly!“
