“I am so grateful I found Teri! She is the BEST hairdresser and also such a honest and kind person! I have black south Asian hair naturally. I had box dyed it with a red brown mahogany color. First off, it takes SKILL to get box dye to lighten nicely and let alone with red tones in it. She did it with no issues! Now I have gorgeous ashy mushroom blonde hair exactly like in the picture I showed her. Second, I am very picky and the placement of her highlights, lowlights, balayage is absolute perfection every time I get my hair done by her! Third, she is amazing at toning and glazing. I’ve gone to her for a more warmer caramel look and more recently for an ashy blonde look and she can do it all! Teri always takes her time with me to understand what I want and explain the process and details of what she is doing. She answers any of my hair questions and has so much knowledge and experience, she’s a hair scientist! She even taught me how to do my hair because I suck at blow drying and curling it myself! I am so happy every time I leave her salon. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TERI!!!“

When Joanna was on maternity leave or vacation, Jon has happily jumped in and he’s excellent , too. They’re cut and color experts and care very much about your wishes. No egos. Other staff, including Georgia and Allie are so welcoming and have their own loyal followers. Modern and super clean salon, Covid is taken seriously. “Got in to see Bernie herself. She’s extremely knowledgeable about curly hair - both how to cut it (dry) and how to treat it. She really listened to me about what I wanted to do in terms of cut and letting my grey grow in gracefully. In addition to being very skilled and reasonably priced, she exudes great energy, making the time fly by.“
“My experience with Devon from K. Loren Hair Studio was absolutely amazing. From the time I arrived at the salon to her putting the finishing touches on my Do, everything was what I could only hope for. The atmosphere was very welcoming, relaxed and clean. Not to mention, judgement free. I gave Devon an idea of what I wanted and she used her creative freedom an executed it beautifully. I can't even express my gratitude and how happy I am with the whole experience. I got heavy highlights, tone and cut, it took some time but didnt feel like it was drawn out. “After years of disappointing haircuts, I finally decided to get my first curly cut at Rae and Co. Rae did a fantastic job listening to my issues and experience, giving me a haircut that exceeded my expectations, and giving me clear advice and guidance on how to wash and style my hair. She also catered the advice to products I already own, which is appreciated. Her guidance on my hair texture and needs was very helpful. I do not typically splurge on haircuts but this was completely worth it. For reference, I have a mix of fine wavy and curly hair I had a that is in need of lots of layering (otherwise it has a tendency to not hold curls and get poofy). I had a very good experience here and highly recommend it. If you have curly or wavy hair and haven't been happy with your haircuts at other salons it is worth taking the plunge. Also, everyone else who worked there was lovely and it was a comfortable environment.“

I also didn't love the men violating the no nudity rule in the jacuzzi. The group classes were very good, and the trainers were generally friendly. I look back fondly on my time here“
