This was, unfortunately, the worst experience I have ever had with a physician. When I reported that I was nearly passing out, along with several other concerning symptoms, my concerns were dismissed. I ultimately had to research my symptoms and advocate for testing myself. My lab results later confirmed iron deficiency.
Following an emergency appendectomy, I was instructed to schedule a follow-up appointment with her. After I took time away from work to attend, she entered the room and asked, “What is going on today?” The appointment felt unnecessary and demonstrated a troubling lack of preparation or familiarity with my medical history.

I had to see her instead of my normal physician when I was experiencing a medical issue. She wrote me off completely because of my medical card, and when I asked for labs she said no. Turns out there is something wrong in my labs that could've been discovered a month earlier if she just took me seriously and treated me with an ounce of respect. I've had a great experience with almost every other UPMC doctor I've seen, but if you have a med card I would avoid this doctor.
I have been seeing Dr. for several years. She has only kept me waiting longer than 15 min. One time. She always has time to answer my questions in fact she asks if I have any every time I go. My future husband sees her now and he is pleased with her too. If she doesnt know the answer to your question she will admit she doesnt but will find out for you. We are very pleased with this Doctor.
