Cardiology Associates of Altoona has a team of knowledgeable doctors and friendly staff. The doctors are kind, caring, and listen to patients. The staff, including those at the front desk and those who do tests, are helpful and treat patients with respect. They answer questions and make patients feel safe. The office provides quality cardiology care and has friendly and compassionate employees. Patients feel comfortable and cared for, and the office is recommended for those seeking cardiology care in the area. However, some patients have experienced difficulties with scheduling follow-ups and receiving return calls from the front staff.
My appointment went well, the nurses, MAs, check in staff, and the physician were some of the best around. Other offices should learn from them! I was having an issue, called UPMC, and after dealing with the rude call center lady there, I called here instead. From the point I talked to them, I knew I did right calling here. The OFFICE STAFF answer the phones, not just some call center. Everyone listens, cares, and really knows what they're doing.
If you need a cardiologist, come here. They actually treat you like a patient and not like a number. We need more independent offices like this in town again.
Dr Hany F. Shanoudy, MD is a very kind, and caring doctor. He's extremely knowledgeable in his field of expertise. The women who work at the front desk are very kind and helpful. They do their own testing there and the staff who do the tests are very kind and did their best to help me feel comfortable. I feel that they have an amazing team of doctors, nurses, and staff members.
I'd definitely recommend anyone to The Altoona Cardiology Associates of Altoona.
Only giving a 3 because of the drs I’ve seen here, as far as front staff they’re horrible, I’ve called MULTIPLE times to try and schedule follow ups, left numerous messages to recieve a call back, and no return calls. Supposed to be having a procedure done in a few weeks and kinda nervous that I won’t be able to get ahold of their office if I need them afterwards
