Came down with my daughter to get blood work done and seen the waiting room was packed. Sitting in a waiting room to get blood work done that should be done within an hour is taking way to long. They seriously need more employees in this place on the weekends as more people only have that option to go on Saturdays . Please look into providing more staff to help ease the wait time in the waiting room .
My husband has been here a few times for chest scans. Everyone has been so nice. We have never waited very long. The first time we were there, we waited 20 minutes. The second time we barely got to sit down. The nurses are really nice.
The only thing I would say bad is if you’ve never been there before it is complicated to know where you are suppose to go.
I arrived just before 7:00 a.m. for blood work. Registration was pretty quick. 2 people registering people. 1 PERSON taking blood. God love her! She was doing a good job but there were sooo many people waiting. I was there over 2 hours! When I left, the waiting room was standing room only. UPMC, you have to do better! You can afford more help!
