I’ve been here for two years now because I wanted a family doctor that wasn’t strictly a pediatrician. And so far I’ve loved them, the office ladies are kind and friendly, the residents are kind and friendly, doing everything in their power to do. HOWEVER Dr Phillips (overseeing physician) is the WIZARD OF OZ!!!! Does he exist??!! Where is he? Does he have a signature?? When Medicare requires “real” physicians signature for my disabled child to receive home health aide services HE’S A RUSE!!! MIA, NEVER ACTUALLY IN THE OFFICE . The receptionist with black hair is rude, inconsiderate, and blatantly lies. Needed a paper filled out for my insurance, and her exact response was an exasperated "do we have to do this every month?" Needed another form filled out, and she told my wife she hadn't been seen in over a year and a half so she couldn't have it filled out for that reason. Bold faced lie, my wife was seen there in April. Also, don't bother trying to call in. You'll be put on hold forever waiting.

I'll give them two stars because the doctors there are mostly good.

My son and I have been coming here for over a year now. The staff has always been nice and we never had to wait long. The female doctor is awesome! She fully explains everything to you in a professional, caring, down to earth way!! The nurses are great too. Im glad I chose Altoona Family Physicians.
