Whitaker Roofing & Siding was recommended to us by a neighbor and we’re so glad we used them to replace our roof. Dave was professional, honest and courteous when he came to do the estimate. The workers were also professional and respectful during the install and the cleanup was outstanding. You would have never known that we just had a roof replaced after they left. They were here 2 days and each day they checked for ‘stray’ nails laying around. We are extremely impressed with the workmanship and overall professionalism of not just this company but each and every one of their employees. Dave said although Alick Smith's subcontractor did terrible job installing EPDM rubber roof on our house almost 7 years ago, material still new so no rain can get through rubber. So replacing roof not urgent. What is urgent is flashing and sealing openings along edges on roof to prevent more leaking when it rains. Two of his roofers did good job with this last summer. Next urgent task is to have bricks on both sides of parapet wall and up to about six feet below parapet wall repointed. Because repointing bricks will prevent water from getting in where mortar between bricks has eroded. There are very few Masons to choose from. They didn't actually do any repairs to my roof. I called another company that told me I needed to replace my entire flat roof (at a cost of more than I had at that time). I called Whitaker for a second opinion and Sal came out look at my roof, showed me pic's and told me that my roof was fine. Thanks to Sal's honesty if and when something goes wrong I will be calling Whitaker roofing.Service: Roof inspection
