First caregiver insisted on coming with her big black backpack - no wonder, she was helping herself to my mothers nice things - finally after 3rd time calling they told her to bring clear bag but she never followed through - this girl actually walked out on my mother, slamming the door on the way out.
The second aide came the first day, then didnt show up until Friday and stayed 4 hours - my mom is to get M,W,F 2 hours each. ive been calling and speaking to Manager several times now - the aides never call if they dont show up - no responsibilities - my mom is thinking its because of her age but i told her they are there for that reason. So far my Mom had 4 different women who were “caregivers” from this organization. There were two that were were very good but complained how poorly they were paid and treated by the organization. One of the other caretakers would have a pattern of calling my Mom to give her an excuse as to spwhy she couldn’t make it to work yet my Mom was still charged for the visit. As it turned out, she would go to the vicinity where my Mom Mom lived, ping the server to “check in” as if she were at work and then after her shift was over, would go back and ping the server again to indicate that she left. the worst place to work, there is no good communication, the case coordinators are a joke, they love to play with the money and the effort of the caregivers' work, you have to be aware of the payments because they don't pay you the right amount sometimes. they never answer the phone, Nyra is the most uneducated person I have ever met in my life, she has no manners and she dresses like she is in her living room, she loves to speak badly to the clients and on top of that she loves to talk about others. that place used to have better management, and they don't like to pay more than $12 an hour.
