About LA Fitness
LA Fitness offers a wide range of amenities at an affordable price, making it an outstanding value. The gym features state-of-the-art equipment, group fitness classes, a pool, saunas, Kids Klub, personal training, and more. The location is great, with friendly and helpful staff. Members appreciate the childcare service and the respectful atmosphere, where people of all age groups work out together. Many customers have praised the positive and engaged staff, highlighting individuals like Ryan, who is noted for his professionalism. The gym is clean and has undergone a $1 million remodel, adding lots of new equipment and an upgraded Wi-Fi service. While some members have expressed disappointment about the removal of the basketball court, they acknowledge the modern weight equipment area that has replaced it. The overall experience remains positive, with a well-maintained facility and sanitization wipes available for members to use. However, some concerns have been raised about the locker room and bathroom being a bit worn and not included in the remodel. There are also ongoing issues with Wi-Fi reliability. Despite these minor drawbacks, LA Fitness continues to be a favorite among fitness centers, providing a peaceful and safe environment for families to work out together.
Needed a lil’ extra help in the gym, so I signed up for GRIP physical training with Evan Spencer. I did six months of training with Evan and so glad I did! After a few foot injuries, I really needed help with core strength and balance. Evan always had quick, high intensity training ready to go at each session. He successfully kept in consideration my age, health and balance needs when teaching and coaching me through workouts. Not only is Evan highly efficient and motivated as an instructor, he also provides great encouragement to his clients. Highly recommend him!
Spacious gym with a lot to offer. Had regular personal training session with Evan of Grip PT, he put together a great workout plan for me that was targeted to reach my training goals, and the workouts were challenging and fun. Would recommend!
I am a former 24 Hour Fitness member. Left their gym near Bridgeport Village because it went so far downhill on cleanliness and equipment condition.
I love this LA Fitness, especially since the $1 million remodel was completed earlier this month. It’s clean, lots of new equipment, great training area, upgraded WiFi. It gets busy but never too crowded. The staff are friendly and helpful. My only knock is the locker room and bathroom are a bit worn and weren’t included in the remodel. I know some are bummed they got rid of the basketball court, but the new weight equipment area that replaced it is fantastic IMHO.
