“We worked with The Remodel Group (TRG) on the addition of a primary suite (bedroom, bathroom, closet). The project was about 400 sqft in total and expanded our home from a 2/1 to a 3/2. Our experience with TRG was great! From the initial consultations, to the renderings, to breaking ground the TRG team was clear on next steps and what they needed from us. They were transparent on pricing and talked us through options to fit our budget without pushing us. Once we broke ground it was a whirlwind of activity but it didn't feel overwhelming because TRG was great at communication. Their timelines were pretty spot on so we knew what to expect and when and if we had any questions the project manager was just a phone call away. The final addition is amazing! Everything looks and feels so good and we are so glad we did it. People don't believe that we got this done on time and on budget and with no hassles but TRG made it happen. Straight Line was extremely helpful in listening to our thoughts and ideas and gave us a few great design options to consider. Once we determined which direction we were going in, the SLDR team executed the structural designs needed and dealt directly with the Portland building department. Once our demo and 12-week construction began, our general contractor/project manager was very hands on and in constant communication with us. Not only that, but SLDR listened to what our budget was, and stayed within it! “Our company engaged Kami Gray Interiors to design the interior of the units at our multi-family project, The Robert in N. Portland. Additionally, we asked that she create a space in the lobby that had the aesthetic of a hip hotel lobby. Kami and her team nailed it. The unit interiors are modern and timeless and beyond their appearance; the selections were thoughtfully chosen for their durability as well. Kami's design in the lobby exceeded our high expectations. We wanted to create a community space that feels cozy and inviting and felt more like a hotel than an apartment building. Kami used a combination of materials to pull the space together; including the addition of a fireplace, a brick accent wall, and a unique tile fireplace surround to bring the space together. Additionally, her choices for furnishings, lighting, and artwork finished the space to give it a comfortable lounge feel.
