“I got my start in taekwondo with USWC Taekwondo and earned my black belt with master Jang and master Alicia. They are incredible mentors, martial artists and people.

I went on to compete in taekwondo during college and graduate school. I did some coaching and refereeing and got to work with some of the best sparring athletes in the country. It is a huge part of my life and the community is fantastic. You are never too old to start, come back, compete and be involved. Taekwondo is a global sport that can take you to many places. It has given me so much, and I owe so much of that to this great Dojang here in Tigard. If you want to change your kid’s life, start them in taekwondo right here!“
