“Trained about 20 years in different martial arts over the course of my life so far. This school is about my favorite of them all. David is a succinct, responsive teacher who keeps ego out of the gym. The place is warm, supportive and challenging. You won't find a better teacher in Oregon. Highly recommend.Teaches Muay Thai, JKD, Filipino martial arts and boxing, so there's likely something at the gym for just about anyone. Some people go to train to fight in the ring, while most are looking for challenging work outs that improve fitness, self-confidence and ultimately will help you defend yourself and others should you be called upon to do so. “This place is the only thing I truly miss about Oregon. My kids still hold dear the life lessons Teacher Sam and Teacher Logan taught them. When my son was struggling in school with bullying, both Teacher Sam and Teacher Logan went above and beyond to help give him guidance. My son made it through the school year, knew when it was ok to defend himself, and only defended himself when the de-escalation techniques his coaches taught him did not work. I myself got the opportunity to train with Teachers Logan, Sam, and John. Classes were definitely not “Eaaaaasy,” but I looked forward to every class! I can say with certain, the coaches here are top notch!My children and I truly loved it here. If I could pick up Aim High and move it to Idaho, I would. Teacher Sam and Teacher Logan, thank you for making my children feel like they were the only students in a class of 40+. We miss you all and can’t wait to stop by for a visit!“
