Chemawa Indian Health Center is a renovated facility that serves Federally recognized tribal members and students. It offers a range of services including general medicine, urgent care, wellness care, referrals to specialists, a pharmacy, dental care, vision care, laboratory services, and mental health care. While the staff are described as friendly and helpful in all departments, the center faces chronic staff shortages which can lead to long wait times. Some patients have reported difficulties getting appointments and experiencing delays in receiving care. Despite these challenges, many patients express gratitude for the services provided and appreciate the dedication of the staff.
As a member of cherokee tribe this we're I go but the staff shortages. Not to add the long wait list but you should . Call ihn as well as your tribe to make a comfortable complaint. I finally got someone to call me.after 6 month of we're call you back . I feel the native clinic could use more support. Pay rase and the staff it need to care for all native the 43 tribes need to come to gather a build a hospital cancer treatment and more

General medicine & referrals to specialists. They provide urgent & wellness care, a pharmacy, dental, vision, laboratory, and mental health. Friendly staff in all departments.
I love Chemawa doctors & staff, the pharmacy is very helpful, the lab people are awesome & eye doctor, staff & care is the best. I feel blessed to have a good experience each & every time I come to the clinic. It makes me sad to see some bad reviews, I think when people say “ rude staff”, I don’t think they are rude, just rushed to get people taken care of, they are so busy, their job requires multitasking & they usually don’t have extra time to make everyone feel as welcome as they might like.In closing, “please” bring Dr. Champagne back. He is greatly missed. Awesome doctor!!!!Thank you Chemawa, ten thumbs up ?
