Salem Occupational Health Clinic - Urgent Care is a punctual and professional clinic. Doctors at the clinic are helpful and the office and therapy staff are good. The clinic even lets patients come in early when necessary. Some patients have reported that the male front desk staff member is rude and talks disorderly to patients.
Perhaps someone in management will pay attention to this.
Basic customer service is still required in the medical field especially in an office such as this. I was in for an occupational physical which required a TB test. Upon receiving the test I asked if it were possible to have the test read virtually. The response I received was a short and rude “ we don’t do that”. The day the test was due to be “read” I tried to call the office to find out if that was in fact the definitive policy. The phone went unanswered. I consistently wait on hold for over 10 minutes every time I call, despite the fact I was the only customer in the waiting area both times I’ve been in. Customer service is poor when I do speak to someone, they seem very bothered and uninterested in trying to help. I have an employment offer contingent on me completing a physical and an audio test, but despite having multiple locations, this one is the only one offering the audio tests, which can’t be done for 2 weeks due to a technical issue with their audio tests machine. This is probably going to push my start date for my new job back by 2 weeks according to HR.
