On the hottest days of summer and during the cold nights of winter, I like having options to get out of the house to exercise, while still being somewhere temperature controlled and not too far a drive. This studio is perfect on all counts. It is light, bright, spacious, and clean. I love the colorful touches without being over the top. I am absolutely trying to figure out how to incorporate spherical paper lanterns into my home lighting scheme. I've only attended a few classes so I can't speak to their entire breadth of instructors and yoga styles, but those I have attended I have enjoyed. Great yoga spot. They have two locations - one on NE killingsworth the other on SE Hawthorne. Both locations have lots of street parking. They have a great intro deal for unlimited classes for a month for 30 bucks. I've taken their hatha flow classes w 2 different instructors. Both were great. Nice community feel and lots of props available
For context: I don't live in Portland. But since ClassPass has allowed businesses to offer virtual classes during this pandemic, I've been having a blast "traveling" to different cities for class. I attended a Hatha class online with Kris. It was definitely more difficult than I anticipated, but I appreciated Kris' calm and encouraging nature. I believe they may have a Gentle Hatha class as well, so just FYI if Hatha isn't typically your thing. I would probably take that one next time! But I tried, and that's all that matters, right?
