I switched to wildwood from a very long care with rose city vet since 2020. I was not happy w/ my dr/drs there when it came to my dogs senior care. they just kept giving me the same medications and hard to see one dr. Wildwood vet Dr. johnson listen to us carefully and had great solutions and if one thing didn’t work she offered another.
my senior pup I believed lived extra longer because of their care and suggestion of medications. He was not in pain and although I wished he lived little longer, I believe he left when he needed to and after my dog passed wildwood sent me a sweet sympathy card. I appreciate the detail and care. I’ve been a client for 6.5 years. Everyone we’ve worked with here is exceptional, with Dr. Chigos and Dr. Johnson being our main providers. As an established client, we can email or call with questions to rule out if a visit is needed. And they have the ability to operate with urgency, with same day emergency visits as an option.
Dr. Chigos has also gone above and beyond investigating some unusual pupil dilation in our dog.
Lastly, in my experience they do not over-treat, so when they recommend something, I can trust it’s because it’s truly needed.
Always great coming to Wildwood. Easy check in, great staff and caring doctors who are warm and present. Our dog has learned to even love the somewhat busy street outside (she normally hates cars) because she enjoys going to the vet so much! Thank you Wildwood
