Providence Neurological Specialties - West has wonderful MS physicians who are extremely knowledgeable, caring, thorough, and responsive. They take their time during appointments and are supportive. The doctor is great and aligned in treatment approach. Dr. Toub and the Epilepsy team are great, with providers who actually read the chart and take the time to do neuro assessments. They are quick to respond with any concerns or changes in health and genuinely care about patients' quality of life. However, the administrative department is extremely unreliable, with forgotten tasks and no responses to calls or messages, making prescriptions, prior authorizations, and appointment scheduling a hassle.

The Good: My doctor has been great and aligned in treatment approach.
The Bad: The administrative department is extremely unreliable in a way that borders on incompetence. I have had 3 total appointments and have not had a single prescription or prior authorization or appointment scheduling go through without a hassle. This is all due to forgotten tasks or not responding to calls or messages on the part of the admin team. It already takes months to get the initial appointment and then these
hiccups make the access to treatment extremely prolonged.
