Communication was good, everything stayed on budget and schedule, all of the employees were great and they treated our home with care. They provided flexibility with our approach, as we had a design in mind already, but still wanted some level of design services to gain confidence in our decision as well as input on all of the final decisions such as pulls, sink, faucet, etc. One specific custom cabinetry element caused a challenge, and had to be redesigned near the end of the project. It didn't come out exactly as we had hoped, but they made a great effort to achieve our goals on it. With a project of this size and a house as old as ours, we didn't expect everything to go perfectly, but we were happy with the efforts they made throughout the project to achieve our goals.

A friend who owns his own business in the construction industry came by our home after the work was complete and he had high praise for the build quality. It was a good feeling to hear that from another professional. We're now 3 months or so past the end of the project and we are very happy with the kitchen!“

“Our company engaged Kami Gray Interiors to design the interior of the units at our multi-family project, The Robert in N. Portland. Additionally, we asked that she create a space in the lobby that had the aesthetic of a hip hotel lobby. Kami and her team nailed it. The unit interiors are modern and timeless and beyond their appearance; the selections were thoughtfully chosen for their durability as well. Kami's design in the lobby exceeded our high expectations. We wanted to create a community space that feels cozy and inviting and felt more like a hotel than an apartment building. Kami used a combination of materials to pull the space together; including the addition of a fireplace, a brick accent wall, and a unique tile fireplace surround to bring the space together. Additionally, her choices for furnishings, lighting, and artwork finished the space to give it a comfortable lounge feel. “Jenni and her team completely transformed our house from a "cold and dark" color and design scheme to bright and modern and my wife couldn't be happier. Our house was completely and newly remodeled when we purchased it in 2020, but we realized later the color schemes, lighting, cabinets, tile, countertops, etc. were dark and cold. My wife didn't even know what she wanted and Jenni's team had an exhaustive questionnaire and several discussions to come up with a proposal. Even after seeing all the materials and color schemes we couldn't visualize completely but when it was finished it was stunning. My wife now feels like this is her house as opposed to living in someone else's house. This interior design included the kitchen, dining, living, front bathroom, master bedroom and bathroom and lighting. She prescribed all new custom furniture, fabrics, carpet, area rug, lamps, overhead lights, mirrors, etc. Pretty much everything. We learned to make this work best you have to not only embrace the designer's overall look and feel but the detailed fabrics and materials and realize everything ultimately flows together to a beautiful finished product. We initially decided not to do our two guest bedrooms and office but after seeing the rest of the house we are now using Jenni's services to redesign them. It takes time and patience, especially in a supply constrained world, and in our case we had to live temporarily with the inconvenience of not having access to our kitchen, living room and master bedroom and bath but it was all worth it when we saw the finished design!“
