Ginger & Maude Hair Salon in SE Portland offers hair services and haircare products in a welcoming environment. The atmosphere is beautiful, relaxing, and has such a great vibe. The stylists are fantastic, easy to talk to, and incredibly talented. They provide great experiences with haircuts, color, and scalp massages during washes. Customers love their haircuts and leave feeling refreshed, confident, and gorgeous. The salon offers evening and weekend hours. Highly recommend.
I had a wonderful experience and definitely recommend if your looking for excellent customer service . Chelsie was exceptional. I went from drab , heavy long hair to a beautiful lavender, pastel colors . Parking is available down the first street past their salon . The products they use are heaven... no harsh smells at all . Check them out , you won't be sorry ! 🤩💖
I can't recommend Syd at Ginger and Maude enough! I started seeing Syd for my brunette with red highlighted curly hair probably 4 years back...she was newer to G&M at the time, but I immediately saw she had more skills than any of my past hairdressers over the decades. We were doing slightly different highlight colors when we started, but Syd wisely and gently threw out an idea to go in a different direction and I - despite being super particular - trusted her enough to go for it. That's how skilled she is. And you know what? She took my brunette with bold red to the next level. Now, I get stopped at least once a week for compliments on my great hair. If you’ve ever wanted baby-fine, au-natural “I’ve just been in the sun, thanks!” highlights, the very talented Dakota is the hair artist you’ve been looking for. Also, if another stylist had a different vision than you and screwed up your hair color/highlights to the point that you’re in tears, she can fix that too. She listens but also advises, and at this point (going on 3 years) I trust her judgement and just let her do what she does best. She is truly a hair wizard and is now my stylist for life, plus she’s just an amazing human that you will enjoy talking to as she’s making you look amazing 🤩
