I absolutely love Dr Gardner. He takes the time to make sure that all of your needs are met. He actually listens to you instead of handing you a prescription and shoving you out the door. I have never found a more competent, compassionate or intelligent doctor in my life. You might have a little bit of a wait time but it's definitely worth it. The wait is because he is spending time with the patient before you. Be assured that the wait is worth it because he is going to spend adequate time with you also. I love Dr Gardner. I've been going to him for 7 years. He takes his time with you. And he is very personable and knowledgeable. I am not the type of person who just takes direction without understanding what's going on. He explains it very clearly. He is extremely knowledgable. And if I have questions about any of his diagnoses or treatments he listens and considers my question before answering. I have had other doctors under those circumstances get very snippy and not listen at all. I love Dr Gardner because I feel as if I have a personal relationship with him as his patient. With other doctors I was just another body that showed up and had to be looked at. Dr Gardner is so much more friendly and approachable. He gets to know you as a person. And his staff, especially his nurse, are also terrific. He has given me sound diagnoses and good treatments. ALWAYS! He was able to give me a correct diagnosis to a problem I had that I had been to another doctor repeatedly over two years without resolution. One visit to Dr. Gardner and I was on the road to recovery. Some people complain about the wait. He is the only doctor in that office and he is worth the wait.

My dad lives in North Plains and when his doctor retired he chose this doctor. I have to say I initially had no opinion either way of Dr. Gardner but my dad liked him and as a nurse he seemed very competent. As time has gone on I can say that this doctor has done more for my dad in the last 6 months than any other doctor has done in many years. I can imagine that the appointments are not on time because each person has very differently needs and issues. It’s gone from a time where most doctors have 15 to 20 minute time slots and then your time is up. The diagnosis is fast and the doctor has not looked past the bare minimum to get the appointment over in time....read full review
