My last provider was far too aggressive - insisting that so much was going on with me that it would take 2, perhaps 3 appts and suggested that likely still wouldn't be enough. I was told he 'cared' but, I can say with confidence, I sure didn't feel it. I now have a different provider who seems much more tuned in and caring.
Can't say enough great things about Dr. Taxman. He genuinely cares — not just about your symptoms, but about bringing you into full health. What sets him apart is his ability to balance naturopathic and allopathic approaches in a way that's truly tailored to you as an individual. He doesn't apply a one-size-fits-all protocol — he listens, assesses, and meets you where you are. Working with him has been a genuinely positive experience, and I would recommend him without hesitation to anyone looking for a thoughtful, dedicated practitioner who takes your whole health seriously.
Difficulties with the administration side of this office from the beginning. Manual entry of my email instead of copy&pasting my email that I responded to left me without communication with my provider for months at the start and delayed communication about documentations my provider wanted me to fill out.
Found out much later as a large bill came through I was out of network as well, when I believed I was. This is also my fault for not double checking but I am also used to courtesy reminders about my insurance status from other providers.
