Absolutely terrible hospital. Dirty. Imaging is a joke. An hour and half waiting AFTER your appt time and they come out and say it'll be another hour. The ER is where you go when you are any them to ignore you and have an attitude. One of the worst hospitals in the country. They sent me to surgery, when I was literally in the. OR and the nurse getting me situated answered the phone, came back to me and said surgery is cancelled they "over read your imaging". Yes, they screwed up.. Did the same while pregnant. Fortunately I was transferred to Providence since they have a NICU where the Hillsboro Medical Center wrote the completely wrong position of my baby and the fact that she had a score of zero for breathing( she was being strangled by the umbilical cord because she was stuck sideways under my ribs) on the transferring records. I corrected the info with the providence doc, they immediately did an ultrasound to verify and I was in for an emergency C-section within 30 min. 2 days AFTER my daughter was born Hillsboro Medical Center ammended those records to fix their screw up. Hillsboro Medical Center is where you go to die
Very poorly maintained patient rooms. The clock & window shades were broken. On the good side the health care employees were great. It just seemed a little run down as far as maintenance. This review is based on my mother's experience.
The ER team did everything they could to save my brother whom had stage 4 stomach cancer but he passed away. They were so kind and considerate of our feelings and helped us through the grief and the process. I will forever be grateful to the physicians and nurses who helped him and our family. It's a tough job and they help so many people under difficult circumstances and I want to compliment their expertise and commitment to the community.
