Communication was good, everything stayed on budget and schedule, all of the employees were great and they treated our home with care. They provided flexibility with our approach, as we had a design in mind already, but still wanted some level of design services to gain confidence in our decision as well as input on all of the final decisions such as pulls, sink, faucet, etc. One specific custom cabinetry element caused a challenge, and had to be redesigned near the end of the project. It didn't come out exactly as we had hoped, but they made a great effort to achieve our goals on it. With a project of this size and a house as old as ours, we didn't expect everything to go perfectly, but we were happy with the efforts they made throughout the project to achieve our goals.

“Our company engaged Kami Gray Interiors to design the interior of the units at our multi-family project, The Robert in N. Portland. Additionally, we asked that she create a space in the lobby that had the aesthetic of a hip hotel lobby. Kami and her team nailed it. The unit interiors are modern and timeless and beyond their appearance; the selections were thoughtfully chosen for their durability as well. Kami's design in the lobby exceeded our high expectations. We wanted to create a community space that feels cozy and inviting and felt more like a hotel than an apartment building. Kami used a combination of materials to pull the space together; including the addition of a fireplace, a brick accent wall, and a unique tile fireplace surround to bring the space together. Additionally, her choices for furnishings, lighting, and artwork finished the space to give it a comfortable lounge feel.
