“After our grandmas passing we were lucky to have had Trish in our corner, helping, guiding and offering assistance in her funeral and burial planning. She went above and beyond what I thought was the norm. She offered the most genuine remorse for our loss and even shared in our tears when we spoke about our family. During the burial she was informative, and still had an amazing amount of kindness, sympathy and warmness, she spoke to us like old friends as we said our final goodbyes and laid her to rest. Jason and Joel who assisted in the burial were amazing to watch work, in silent understanding and gentleness we know she would have appreciated. We can not thank the team at Gethasmani enough for all they have done.“

They have held onto some so that the urn does not need to be opened . Ryan was absolutely amazing then and is still just as great. The entire team here are kind, caring, and compassionate. They don't rush you ar make you feel uncomfortable they just help guide you through the process after loosing a loved one. “My family recently met with Funeral Director Jean Fox to make memorial plans for my grandpa, and my mom and my uncle in particular just LOVED Jean, so I'm doing this review on their behalf. My mom was so worried going to the funeral home, and up all night worrying herself, but it was night and day when I talked to her on the phone later that afternoon, after her appointment, and she just kept going on and on about how comfortable and at ease Jean made her!! I was so so happy to hear this, because I was distressed I was out of state at the time, and not able to be there for her.
But I am so happy Jean was there for her in my stead, and has continued to be there for her when designing grandpa's headstone, and just anytime my mom has had questions.
I can say honestly that while my meeting with Jean at the memorial was brief, I just instantly got the sense that she is great at what she does, knows what she's talking about, and actually LISTENS to you, which instantly puts you at ease.
I want to also give a shout out to the cemetery workmen, who let us watch the entire burial close up! It was my first time actually being at a cemetery that let you be so close to the burial, and it was a really comforting, intimate feeling. Jean was with us there as well, which was so comforting, because my mom and uncle didn't feel like they were just being handed off to the next person available. She was there with them from start to finish, and for that, we can't thank her enough.“

“My favorite cemetery in Portland! I come here all the time to just walk the grounds. It is huge, gorgeous and sometimes you can spot some bald eagles flying around.“
