I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for the extraordinary kindness, compassion, and care you showed my son, Neil, our family, his girlfriend and son, during the most heartbreaking time of our lives.

When Neil passed away, the Medical Examiner entrusted him to your care until I could make the long journey from Guam, where I had received the devastating news, back to the East Coast, and then on to Portland. I arrived exhausted from days of travel, overwhelmed with grief, shock, and unimaginable sorrow.

20+ years ago I used to work in this service industry. I thought I knew great service back then as I was part of the group to provide it. Fast forward to today. No tragedy to navigate, thankfully. Just me, saving my family added future headache in making arrangements for me. I made them. Today - when I'm perfectly able to do so. The staff is fantastic. Especially Tyler Waud. He took me through the current system of detailed arrangements. Easy, understandable, thorough, kind and thoughtful.
