We brought in a kitten we found on the side of the road, Waterloo West was the only Animal Hospital/Vet open. They saved his life and we've stayed with them ever since and now we have a new member of the family.Every veterinarian is very personable and proffesional. They have fantastic bedside manners, very reasonable costs and the best hours in KW. We've brought our cats in at 8 at night. They are phenomenal!If you are looking for a vet, I would not suggest Waterloo West Animal Hospital enough!

My dog felt unwell at 10 pm (suspected gastric torsion) and while looking up the number for the emergency clinic I found that Waterloo West was open. I called them and they agreed to see her right away! Everyone at the hospital was amazing! So caring and kind!! If I didn’t have the same vet for the last 20 years, who I love, I would switch in a heartbeat! So much better than the emergency clinic! If you are looking for a vet, I totally recommend them!

Our team is dedicated to providing the best care possible for your pets, and have been proudly certified by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). Our veterinarians are experienced in providing care and treatment for cats, dogs and exotic companion animals, including rats, hamsters, hedgehogs, sugar gliders, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds and reptiles including snakes. We understand their unique health needs and can provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and surgical services, as well as counselling on nutrition, behaviour, and general care. We are available extended hours Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to Midnight, Saturday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
