Tia is very accommodating, experienced and empathetic. She made a special exception for a Sunday appointment as I work every other day of the week. She asked for a heads up of how Mika (fearful rescue pupper) is with grooming. She was very patient and understanding of Mika’s fearful reaction to nail trimming and provided rest breaks throughout the process. The store is an open concept so I was able to be there to provide comfort to Mika. So grateful to discover K9 Spaw. Highly recommend.

I discovered K9 Spaw after my Bichon-Poodle puppy had a stressful experience by another groomer. I thought it would be impossible to find a groomer that: is in downtown Toronto, does NOT cage your pet or keep them as one of many for 3+ hours, and offers reasonable availability for appointments.Tia of K9 Spaw responded to me right away and in 3 days we had our PRIVATE grooming appointment. No cages, no other doggies, no cattle calling. Carly was attentive, warm, compassionate, and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!! They are so thorough that they were the first groomer after 3 years to bother to check to clean my dogs ears and found a lot of dirt. Sadie even gets excited when we’re close to the shop because she remembers them. Needless to say she can hear and listen much better now. Thanks Tia! Definitely will be back again.
