I would highly recommend Colm and his team at ACT Fast Waterproofing . Not only were their prices very competitive but their workmanship was expertly executed in a timely manner. The team was great to work with and they always left my project clean and put away. I’ve had no issues with water in the basement since even with this year’s deluges of rain. They aided me with applying for the City of Toronto rebates for my new sump pump and battery backup. If you need any waterproofing I would suggest you give them a call. You won’t be disappointed. We recently moved into our new home and discovered we had water seeping into the sump pump room in our basement. I called several contractors and Colm was the first to respond. He came and quickly assessed the situation and did not try to up-sell us on unnecessary work. He and his team did great work on an interior waterproofing job with membrane and weeping tile, replaced our aging sump pump, advised us on available City rebates, and also capped the worn out exterior above-ground membrane, all at a very reasonable price. As a first time home buyer, you’re always nervous hiring a contractor for a project you have little to no experience with. Colm was a blessing to have because he took time to assess the basement, walk around the property, and advise on what the best option was for me (interior waterproofing). Then, during the project, he communicated progress, was on time, on schedule, and very professional. I shopped around and met 3 different contractors before choosing Colm at Act Fast. His pricing was very fair but, most importantly, you’re dealing with an honest person who takes pride in his work. Highly recommend.
