“When my wife and I were looking for a renovator for our newly purchased condo we made sure to explore our options, seek references and try to find the best value. If you are reading this note I imagine that is what you are doing as well.

After evaluating bids, we received from multiple companies we decided to go with Amsted Design-Build as not only was their response to most detailed, but it was also the lowest price. Now I normally am of the mindset that lowest price is not always the way to go but Amsted also came highly recommended and had been operating a long time which to me said they must know what they were doing to exist for so long. So, we opted to go with Amsted Design-Build.

I have to say every day through the process our confidence in Amsted continued to grow. Our project manager Paul clearly had a lot of experience in the industry and was beyond helpful in taking us through the process. He explained what Amsted would do and what our responsibilities were. He gave us good solid advice on design aspects, materials, approach and so much more.

We had a clear plan and a milestone payment system which gave my wife and I the peace of mind we needed as we had heard horror stories of the experience some people have had with renovators. Weekly jobsite meetings let us see progress and give feedback for any decisions, changes or fine tuning that was required.

The team of professionals on his crew were amazing. They were always working hard, treated our new home with respect and the quality of the workmanship was top notch. At the end of each workday the jobsite was left clean, organized and secured. They made sure to do things properly. So much so that we have had almost nothing to have corrected or touched up once they were finished and we entered our warranty period. They did it right the first time which made it easy for us to move in and enjoy our newly renovated home.
