My father Steve Taitt passed away earlier this year. He was larger-than-life, with a laugh that filled every room he entered. He was a great dad, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He loved big and was adored in return. Saying goodbye was one of the hardest things my family has ever done, but we got through it, in great part thanks to the wonderful team at Highland.

Organizing a funeral is scary. Ensuring the loved one’s wishes are met. Worrying that I would forget something in each phase of the process. When I might start to panic there was always someone close by who was calm and ensuring everything was going as planned.
I realize it’s their job. I never ever felt their support, compassion, advice was ever ‘their’ job. I was never rushed. When I was overwhelmed they recognized it before I even asked and reassured me that they would do the task I was concerned about. Highly recommend.
